Today I wanted to combine the 12 tags of Christmas with the Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge, because the 12 tags are taking up all my time :). This week's challenge is show some elements of time.
I was a bit scared for this days tag, because I don't have any of the supplies that Tim used! I have no alcohol inks, no reflections stamps and not the die he used. I wanted to run to the store and get me some reflections stamps and alcohol ink. Just in time I realized that the stores are closed on Monday. That made me freak out more. Fortunately, once I calmed down, I had an idea and I thought of alternatives I could use for this tag. And I'm very pleased with today's result!
When I buy alcohol inks and reflection stamps, I'm gonna give these techniques a try! They're amazing!
The materials:
- Distress Ink: festive berries, black soot, barn door
- Stamps: Studio G
- Vintage tinsel
- Ribbon
- Mesh
- Rhinestones
- Twine
- Embossing Powder: white, silver bells
- Versamark
- Clock
- Charm
