Finally I had the time and material to make the June tag of the 12 tags of 2012. This is the first time I saw what you can do with the nibs. And the coloring of black and white vintage photos technique is so cool! So I had to get them. The paper I used does not really work well with the coloring technique, I have to find other photo paper that works better. The picture that I printed out is a bit too big, because now you can't see the marbled stains background very well....

ReplyDeleteFirst let me say that this Tag is gorgeous, and I love the image, I personally don't think it is too big, love the colour on her stole, and you have matched it well with the ric rac at the bottom. All the embellishments and the elements you have added certainly enhance the project. I am not a steam punk Gal, but I love this look.

Great tag, love the 'pop' of red on the image. Love the improvised embellishments, I find this the hardest bit.
