A joyful Christmas!

It's almost time, tonight it's Christmas Eve and tomorrow it's really Christmas! It all went so very quickly! This week we have no challenge at Simon Says Stamp and Show, but we wish you all a merry Christmas and all the design team members have something they want to share with you for this festive week. Last year was the first year that I've made ​​Christmas cards, and I had so much fun that I wanted to do that again this year. And for my Christmas card I used my alternative Christmas colors yet again.

Below a short impression how I've made them​​. Unfortunately, not all steps are captured, because I was so busy that I just didn't think about taking pictures...


The background is made with the Tim Holtz Distress Wrinkle Free technique. To let the 25 stand out I used Glossy Accents to glue down the black colored Dry Glitter. That stuff is totally awesome!

  
Finally, the Holiday Lamp Post got some serious use!


With the drybrush technique I have the lamp post with a golden glow. And every lamppost got some vellum windows.

The tinsel is light colored with 3 colors of alcohol ink.
