Transparency

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. The theme of this week comes from Anna- Karin and it's "Transparency". What comes to mind when you think of transparancy?

For my project I used only transparent or semi-transparent products. For the background I started with making a pattern from different washi tape. It was a little too bright for me, and I wanted to tone it down and bring it more into the background. So I watered some Gesso and applied a layer of it over the whole page.

I hadn't more in mind other than transparent when I started. During my quest to find transparent things, I came across the Scripty Word "Love". I love rub ons and when I was browsing through them I saw the Jar from Jenni Bowlin. Despite Valentine day has passed a while ago, I found "Love Potion" a fun theme anyway.

The Retro Circles are fabulous and so versatile! I have used the XOXO Doodle Stamper once again. The ink of those stampers takes a long time to dry, so that's why I don't used them that often.

The sentiment is stamped on tissue paper, so I can put it where I want it very easily. I cut it in half and collaged it where I wanted it. The rays around the jar I made with Iced Spruce Distress Ink and the Rays Stencil.
