Use it more

Hi everyone,

This week we have such a fun theme at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. We challenge you to use products or technique that you don't use enough or often. Are you up for this challenge?

A few months ago, I bought the Ink Spray Pad, which was still in the packaging, and this was the perfect time for it to put it to use. This combined with the White Linen Dylusion Spray and a Black tag. Also products I don't use often. Love these kind of challenges! Hope you do too!

After I'd shaken the White Linen Spray Dylusion well (there is a mixing ball in it for mixing the white pigment in), I sprayed a few times on the Ink Spray Pad. This spray will mostly stay on the top of the ink pad, and it isn't necessary to soak it all the way through.

The effect of white stamping on a black surface is so beautiful. Now what? It looks amazing as it is... But what can I do on top of it? Of course some washi tape, that's without saying, but what else? What else works on a dark background? Hmm, I had to think about that for a little while and then I remembered that Perfect Pearls works brilliantly on dark surfaces too.

Wonderful tag! That is what I am trying to do in my house right now - simplify but it is taken me forever. Too many years of hoarding and stuffing things away!!
I hope you are having a great summer!

Wow! This turned out to be such a striking piece! It's not a color palette I would've thought to use, but I really love the final result! You are always so clever and I look forward to your projects each week.
