I had so much fun playing with the Exclusive Tim Holtz 2015 STAMPtember set! I chose the blueprint clock for my card. Along with the new STAMPtember Leaves Background stamp. It's my favorite from this STAMPtember release! I made a time laps video of the whole proces to show you how I've made this card.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the videos, it was a nice break on this blog hop! First, you are an expert dripper of random dottage. Second, love the watercolor effect you achieve by simply stamping. Third, love the strong value contrasts of the Christmas tag. And number four, clever to split the sentiment up by stamping on the tag plus using a cut-out. I declare you to be this week's design team queen!

ReplyDeleteThanks...I loved both videos. I guess you used the Distress Glaze as a kind of resist? I'm still trying to figure out how you set the Perfect Pearls on the tag.
ReplyDeleteHi Sandy. Whoops! I accidentally video edit that part out. I sprayed it with a water mister afterwards. The Perfect Pearls set when it gets wet and the Distress Inks react a bit. And yes, I used the Micro Glaze as a resist :) Love that technique! Hugs, Sandra

These are both such lovely pieces! I'm trying to decide which one I like best, but then I decided I love them both! I really like your color palette and all the beautiful swirls and pools of blue on the first project. But you know me and my love of color, so that tag really took my breath away, too!
