It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
This week we are having a:
Christmas In July Blog Hop!
You should have arrived here from Maura's blog, if not then you may need to start at the beginning on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog
I started with the Mechanics 3D Folder and Kraft cardstock. After I had used the 3 Folder I applied Simon Says Stamp White Pigment Ink to the raised parts of the folder and once again passed through the Vagabond. As a result, the lower parts were colored white. Good thing to know is that the pigment on the Kraft cardstock really soaks in and it isn't as white when it's dry. I added some more contrast with Distress Oxide Walnut Stain to the raises parts.
The Mechanics 3D Folders is not really Christmas-like, but with a bit of imagination it looks like different types of snowflakes. And to emphasize this even more, I used Dylusions Spray Black Marble and White Linen to create some splatters. I cut the Tree Line die out of black cardstock with double sided adhesive tape behind it. I did the same with the Let It Snow phrase from the Holiday Words dies. Personally, I find it easier to use tape if the surface has so much dimension, because with liquid adhesive it usually comes out on all sides.
