STAMPtember party 2021

Hi everyone,

The most exiting month of the year in crafting is here, Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember®! The whole month of September is a celebration full of collaborations with different companies and fun promotions. In this blog post you can also find an amazing promotion! 

But first I have to tell you about the incredible party we're having today! Lots of amazing creative talent are sharing what they have made with this new amazing STAMPtember® release. You can find all the details of this party and who's joining at the Simon Says Stamp Blog. 

From this release I had the pleasure to create with the amazing Simon Says Stamp Interlocking Leaves stamp. I love that you can also make them into feathers like I did for this card. I started with stamping it in VersaMark and used the Simon Says Stamp Rose Gold Embossing Powder. I'm not really great in coloring, so using Embossing Powder helps to stay within the lines. 

 

I only used to colors for this card, Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick and Distress Oxide Spray Salvaged Patina. To make the third purply color I mixed both of the colors. After I was finished coloring the leaves within the lines I used lots of water to make the ink move and also fill in the background as I didn't color it.
