It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Use Your Favorite Stamp".

We are showcasing the latest STAMPtember® products and although you probably don’t have these supplies yet we would like you to use Simon’s Exclusive Products if you have them. This isn’t necessary to join in with the challenge but we would appreciate it.

For this STAMPtember release I got the Etched Laurel Leaves die and no stamps, so I used my favorite Halloween Stamp set from Tim Holtz, the Mini Halloween # 3 set. Since this set came out I have used it every year! My other favorite stamp is the Hot Air Balloon from the Remnant stamp set, but unfortunately Simon Says Stamp no longer has it in the assortment. But they have plenty of other nice Hot Air Balloon items.

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "We're All A-Buzz".

All the crafting demos are so inspiring, and I was completely blown away by the Minc demo with Tim Holtz and Heidi Swapp a few days ago (check Heidi Swapp Instagram). Unfortunately I don't have the Minc Toner Ink, but I do have Distress Resist Spray, Minc Foil and the Mini Minc. I did some experimenting first, and I have several brands of foils, but Heidi's really works the best. The GoPress from Couture Creations stick in many more places than just the Resist Spray, which can be a really cool effect, but it's really unpredictable and therefor really hard to use.

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Dog's Life".

For this week I was inspired by this cute pug stamp from Oddball and from the Facebook Lives of Tim Holtz. I finally took the plunge and bought all but one of the Distress Embossing Glazes, I actually wanted to get them all, but I wasn't paying attention when ordering... And I did a technique with them that I saw in the Tim Holtz Demos. I also experimented a bit with my "own" technique with Distress Oxides.
