Alcohol Ink Bloom card

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Beautiful Blooms".

I wanted to try to make a mixed media card with Yupo and Alcohol Inks. I started to apply Texture Paste to with Lattice stencil on Yupo. After it was dry I applied a few drops of Blending Solutions and a few different colors of Alcohol Inks, such as Raspberry, Sunset Orange, Sunshine Yellow, Mineral and Pearls. Wow, those colors are bright, especially Raspberry.

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Alcohol" Inks  or Drinks...

I rarely use Alcohol Inks for my projects, but I have quite a few. So this Alcohol challenge is perfect to break them out again. I notice that I often grab the same colors and this time is no different. I started with a sheet of Yupo and different colors Alcohol Inks. I applied them with a blending tool with Felt, but I find the hard lines with the small ones really cool, so I used a heat tool to stop the process of the Alcohol Inks wicking.
