Hi everyone,
It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge. This week is a real challenge for me because we need to stamp without ink! A few substitues are paint, stains, markers, embossing ink, multi-media and water. If you can come up with something else, please do!
I almost always stamped with ink, so I had the chance to practice my stamping with paint again. After some practice, I've found a way to get the hang of this technique. There are two things I need to focus on, applying the paint to the stamp and how much paint. What works well for me is to puta little paint on my craft sheet and spread this into a thin layer and then pick it the paint up with the stamp. It also works when I apply a little paint onto a sponge and apply it to the stamp. So funny that I don't get it to work with paint dabbers, because that's almost the same...
I love stamping with embossing ink and then applying some perfect pearl power on it. This will give you a very detailed print, so beautiful!
In these pages I've used some stencils with paint and Dylusion Spray also. I love playing in my art journal, and trying lots of different styles.
To join in all you need to do is make a project that fits this weeks challenge and you can be the winner of the $50 gift voucher that our amazing sponsor Simon Says Stamp offers. This prize will go to a random entry. So go over to the Stamp and Show Challenge blog, let the DT members inspire you and join in the fun!
Thank you for stopping by! Love to see you next time!
Hugs,
Sandra
