Spooky STAMPtember card with video tutorial

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/
Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Stamp It".

Like I said last week, the Halloween season has started, so I made a Halloween STAMPtember card for sure. I started with the background like I normally do, and had chosen the colors green and black for my color palette. Distress Oxide Twisted Citron, Distress Ink Peeled Paint, Distress Oxide Spray Peeled Paint and Black Soot, along with Nuvo Shimmer powder Fallen Leaves and Storm Cloud were all used in my first layer.

From the STAMPtember release I have the Interlocking stamp and I love how it turned out in this grungy spooky card, I used it with Distress Oxide Twisted Citron and Clear Embossing powder. It was a bit in the back so I highlighted some areas with Nuvo Shimmer Powder Fallen Leaves and a water brush. For the witches, I had to make them green, and used Distress Crayon Twisted Citron for that.

STAMPtember party 2021

Hi everyone,

The most exiting month of the year in crafting is here, Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember®! The whole month of September is a celebration full of collaborations with different companies and fun promotions. In this blog post you can also find an amazing promotion!
But first I have to tell you about the incredible party we're having today! Lots of amazing creative talent are sharing what they have made with this new amazing STAMPtember® release. You can find all the details of this party and who's joining at the Simon Says Stamp Blog

From this release I had the pleasure to create with the amazing Simon Says Stamp Interlocking Leaves stamp. I love that you can also make them into feathers like I did for this card. I started with stamping it in VersaMark and used the Simon Says Stamp Rose Gold Embossing Powder. I'm not really great in coloring, so using Embossing Powder helps to stay within the lines.

I only used to colors for this card, Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick and Distress Oxide Spray Salvaged Patina. To make the third purply color I mixed both of the colors. After I was finished coloring the leaves within the lines I used lots of water to make the ink move and also fill in the background as I didn't color it.

Pirate Hot Air Balloon Halloween card with video tutorial

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/
Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Use Your Favorite Stamp".

We are showcasing the latest STAMPtember® products and although you probably don’t have these supplies yet we would like you to use Simon’s Exclusive Products if you have them. This isn’t necessary to join in with the challenge but we would appreciate it.

For this STAMPtember release I got the Etched Laurel Leaves die and no stamps, so I used my favorite Halloween Stamp set from Tim Holtz, the Mini Halloween # 3 set. Since this set came out I have used it every year! My other favorite stamp is the Hot Air Balloon from the Remnant stamp set, but unfortunately Simon Says Stamp no longer has it in the assortment. But they have plenty of other nice Hot Air Balloon items.

Christmas Stamp It card with video tutorial

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/
Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Stamp it". Because it's STAMPtember at Simon Says Stamp we're also showcasing one of the products from this release.

Another Christmas card from me, it's actually much too early for me to make Christmas cards at this time. But I got the Inside Christmas Greeting stamp from the STAMPtember release, so that's the reason LOL. I started with the Simon Says Stamp Deco Diamonds background stamp and Gold Gmbossing Powder. With Nuvo Expanding Mousse Worn Linen I've given it a metallic layer, and colored it in a sort of pattern with Nuvo Shimmer Powder Golden Sparkle.

STAMPtember Christmas card

Hi everyone,

It's September and that means it's STAMPtember® at Simon Says Stamp! This is the 10th anniversary, and there are lots of extra's and fun things planned during this month. And today is the STAMPtember® Blog Party! There are lots of gorgeous projects to see that have used products from this amazing STAMPtember® release. So go check it out after reading this post of course :).

And check the special offer below, you can have you're own exclusie 10th Anniversary STAMPtember Apron for FREE! Please read all the details about it below. It's a limited offer!

From the STAMPtember® release I got the Inside Christmas Greetings stamp set to play with. This stamp set has all kind of sentiments that are perfect for inside but also on a Christmas card. I started with the background like I almost always do. I used Opal Magic Paint Blue-Gold and Green-Gold and started building up color. With Infusions and Distress Oxide Broken China.

The way the Infusions looked made me think of Christmas trees, so I stamped the Tree Line stamp on top of it with Archival Ink Jet Black. And I felt there was snow in the air, and I used the Snowflakes stencil with Worn Linen Nuvo Expanding Mousse.

On top of a strip of Simple Stories Basic paper I stamped the Inside Christmas Greetings sentiment with VersaMark Ink and used Simon Says Stamp White Embossing Powder. Around the edges I applied Distress Ink Ground Espresso and on top of that I added Bonding Powder that I heated and rubbed Driftwood foil on it.
