It's September and that means it's STAMPtember® at Simon Says Stamp! This is the 10th anniversary, and there are lots of extra's and fun things planned during this month. And today is the STAMPtember® Blog Party! There are lots of gorgeous projects to see that have used products from this amazing STAMPtember® release. So go check it out after reading this post of course :).
And check the special offer below, you can have you're own exclusie 10th Anniversary STAMPtember Apron for FREE! Please read all the details about it below. It's a limited offer!
From the STAMPtember® release I got the Inside Christmas Greetings stamp set to play with. This stamp set has all kind of sentiments that are perfect for inside but also on a Christmas card. I started with the background like I almost always do. I used Opal Magic Paint Blue-Gold and Green-Gold and started building up color. With Infusions and Distress Oxide Broken China.
The way the Infusions looked made me think of Christmas trees, so I stamped the Tree Line stamp on top of it with Archival Ink Jet Black. And I felt there was snow in the air, and I used the Snowflakes stencil with Worn Linen Nuvo Expanding Mousse.
On top of a strip of Simple Stories Basic paper I stamped the Inside Christmas Greetings sentiment with VersaMark Ink and used Simon Says Stamp White Embossing Powder. Around the edges I applied Distress Ink Ground Espresso and on top of that I added Bonding Powder that I heated and rubbed Driftwood foil on it.

beautiful - I have never seen the Infusions before. I love your card
This is the first time I have visited your blog. I love your techniques. I'm going to have too look at more posts to see if you have any videos showing how you layer. It is fantastic. This card has a grunge, country vibe which I love. I've never heard of expanding mousse. What a great way to add dimension. This is a fabulous card!
THese are gorgeous!
I love the silhouette trees.
