It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Monochrome".
For this monochrome card I chose to make it in Halloween style again and chose orange for my color. First I applied a layer of Clear Gesso and then with the Swirly Florals stencil I added some texture with blackened Texture Paste. When the Texture Paste was dry I applied the first layer of orange in with Distress Ink Ripe Permisson. And added more orange with Orange County Infusions and Nuvo Shimmer Powder Storm Cloud.
I gave the Handmade Alphabet letters a gradient effect with Metallique Wax Firebird. I didn't want to make it the whole letters orange and the black didn't stand out in the left corner, so that's why I chose to do a gradient effect. The bats of the Bat Crazy die set were a bit flat for me, so I made folds in the wings and applied just a tiny bit of Bronze Age Metallique Wax to them. To give the folds in the wings more texture, I used a toothpick when I adhered them.
