Inkpad love

Hi everyone,

It's Monday again and Simon Says Stamp and Show has another nice new challenge for you. We ask you to use your favorite ink pad and let us know why it's your favorite. My favorite ink pad is Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. Because it's such a gorgeous color. That it's a Distress Ink, makes it even more my favorite. Distress Ink is just so versatile!

To show of the color very well, I only used Peacock Feathers Distress Ink the create the background with the blending tool. It's a bit plain and hasn't any depth in it, so I did the Spritz and Flick technique, so that beautiful water drops occur. To bring out the beautiful color I distressed the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. I also stamped with Peacock Feathers. So you get from this single color very much depth.

I absolutely love the new die of Tim with the Eiffel Tower and Fleur de Lis. I also have the matching embossing folder. They go so well together. It would be even more fantastic if the new Paris stamps had also matched the die and the embossing folder! Well maybe next release :).

To join in all you need to do is make a project that fits this weeks challenge and you can be the winner of the $50 gift voucher that our amazing sponsor Simon Says Stamp offers. This prize will go to a random entry. So go over to the Stamp and Show Challenge blog, let the DT members inspire you and join in the fun!

Thank you for stopping by! Love to see you next time!

Hugs,
Sandra

Sandra...your Parisian tag in Peacock Feathers is awesome. I love that distress ink color, too. It's so vibrant yet not tooooo bright. Your background looks awesome. Love the spritz and flick method with the monochromatic stamping over it. Your design is very cool. Love your embossed Eiffel Tower. That really pops against the Peacock Feathers background. Beautiful tag! <3 Candy
