Make your life big

Hi everyone,

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge has another amazing challenge for you! This week it's all about "paste". You can make a collage with your favorite glue, or maybe create beautiful textures with modeling paste. Let's get creative!

I'm so ready for my favorite season of the year. Although we have an extremely mild winter, here in the Netherlands. I really miss everything being in bloom and that wonderful spring smell. So this tag I have made to celebrate that it is almost there, right around the corner. At least I hope. Officially, spring starts next month...

With this tag I started with the Bubble stencil and Peeled Paint and Bundled Sage Distress Paint. In order to bring a little resist layer to the tag. Then it was Wild Honey, Peacock Feathers and Crushed Olive Distress Inks turn. I think it's a great ink for making beautiful backgrounds. And with a litlle Spritz and Flick it gives such a nice droplet effect. To drawn everything a bit more to the center I distressed the edges of the tag with Gathered Twiggs Distress Ink.

The Fabulous Flourishes stamp is perfect for the spring theme and it's also a great backdrop for the exclusive Leaves Stencil from Simon Says Stamp. If you know me a little you know that I like to work with Modeling Paste and also like to color it with paint. This time with Lettuce Paint Dabber. I let the modeling dry a little and then placed back the Leaves Stencil and stamped with the She Art Print Texture stamp. Some places were not completely dry and has now a slight impression. Just a nice bonus!

Super! Mooie kleuren ook! ♡
En het wordt ook wel eens tijd voor een beetje kleur en zon buiten!
Ik twijfel zelf trouwens nog of ik naar Anna ga dit jaar. Tis wel super gaaf maar ben natuurlijk al 2x geweest. Welke ga jij doen?!

Groetjes xoxo

This is very cheerful and so colorful! Makes me wish I had more Distress inks. 80 degrees here for the last several weeks but we have very little green and I miss green and the Spring that comes only after a quiet, restful Winter.

Great color combinations Sandra. Do you mix the paint and the paste together before you apply it to the stencil or do you dab the paint on after the paste is applied and dried? Thanks.

Your colorful tag is so cheery and optimistic. Just what I needed to see on a dreary Winter day. Those paste leaves are beautiful. I adore that technique!

This tag is absolutely gorgeous! That color palette is so dreamy and indeed made me think of Spring instead of the pile of dirty snow that's still sitting on my lawn! I love how you added text to the leaves. A truly beautiful creation....again!

It's like spring on a tag - I adore those warm sunshine tones (please, it must be sunshine time soon!) - and the wonderful textures from the resist and the flicking. And the leaves work so well with that touch of dimension - a real favourite for me of your makes.
