City trip stuff

Hi everyone,

A new Monday means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, and this time there is no theme.... Nope I'm not kidding, it's Anything Goes this week!
A couple of weeks back I was in Barcelona. For a city trip, a map is often the most used object and this time we had already arranged tickets to some sights we wanted to go to in advance. In addition, I often forget in what order things happen and therefore wanted a small notebook that I can carry around with me and write things down as they happen. With these things in mind I started.

First I made the little notebook. The larger Matchbook die from Tim Holtz is particularly suited for it. It's made out of Kraft cardstock. Because all it will be used very often and will go in my bag, I wanted to keep it as flat as possible and have minimal embellishments. But of course I can't go without washi tape.

The second item I made is the ticket holder. Every time we went somewhere, I pulled out the relevant ticket. This way I didn't have to worry about losing the other tickets. I done it the same way as the little notepad. To store the tickets I have adhered two pieces of transparency on the insie with washi tape going around the edges.

Finally, I created a folder in which I stored all the maps and itineraries. I didn't want to have loose pages so I made it into a booklet for easy access and browsing. This one is also made in the same manner and style as the others.

All three items have a coat of Multi Medium to ensure that everything stays in place. And that the ink is not going to run or give stains.
