Trio of color explosion

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. This week it's all about a trio of colors. Choose your medium and use it in three colors.

I chose the primary colors of Distress Stains: Picked Raspberry (magenta), Mustard Seed (yellow) and Peacock Feathers (cyan). I was in the mood for a color explosion and the Splash technique with Distress Stains makes it into a real color explosion. For this technique, it's recommended to put on old clothes and to clear your working area. It's really an explosion of Distress Stains and the spletters will go far! I speak from personal experience...

Before I did this technique I first made some texture with Texture Paste and the Harlequin stencil. This creates more depth.

What is very important if you want to get those beautiful splashes, is to get the dabber full with ink. Press firmly on your craft mat. But not too hard, else the ink will run out of the bottle. Okay now it's time to make some color explosions! Hit with the Stain onto the surface. How much pressure is something you need to experiment with.
