Whatever the Weather card with video tutorial

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/
Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Whatever the Weather". We're also showcasing Tim Holtz Products! Join in!

We have had really all kind of weather this last week, from very cold, sunny and dry weather, to snow and warm weather with rain.
I started with 3 different colors Nuvo Mousse to start giving the background a first layer of color. I used a Tim Holtz stamp (from the Sideshow set, thanks, Barbara!) that was stamped on Tissue Wrap. I applied it with Mod Podge so that it becomes part of the background.

Next I played with Infusions and Mod Podge to give it even more color, and this time added purple and green. After that I added more intense layer with color by applying Distress Oxide with Infusions. To add some texture I used the Degrade De Points stencil with Texture Paste, Black Soot Distress Paint and Nuvo Mousse Old Navy. To make it a little lighter I doodled a bit with a white Gelly Roll pen and a Sharpie.

Oh my! There is such a hard work behind this great background, so many layers and blending and splashing and adding more layers. Fabulous. As always. Love the raindrops so dark and popping up. The scene is awesome too and your white doodling rulez! Hugs, Marzena

How absolutely clever this is! I adore the way you created a scene with the umbrella man shielding the two girls. That was genius and it's always a treat to see someone use Tim's products in such an original and refreshing way!
