Flora card
Hi everyone,
It's been a while making a project to participate into other challenges! Unfortunately no video of the process, because it's so time consuming and I made this one at night, and I need daylight to film. It was also fun to not film the process for once and just go.
For this card I used the Botanical Collage Paper as a first layer of my background. I adhered it with Collage Medium, I didn't seal it in, so I could use Distress Oxided on top of it. Around the corners of the card I used Bonding Powder with GoPress Grey Foil. I'm in love with this effect, and works also great as a resist.
The Ornate Frame (thanks Marzena) got texture using Grit-Paste. After it was dry I applied black paint to it. To give it a timeworn effect I applied Gunmetal paint in random places with my finger. Fabulous first step, but there were two more products that I applied with my finger in random areas: Nuvo Mousse Seaspray Green and Metallique Wax Bronze Age.
To dress up the frame I used Garden Greens and Wildflowers dies (thanks Marzena). All are colored with the Distress Oxides. And the girls are Paper Dolls, I colored them with Distress Markers and blended the colors with a cotton swab.
