Spooky Starry Night Halloween card with video tutorial

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/
Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Starry Nights".

Oh yes,  this card is also in Halloween style... Hope you're not tired of my Halloween projects ;). This time it's the view from within a haunted mansion looking outside at the starry night. For the wallpaper I used a sheet from the Halloween Paper Stash. And the window is made with the Window and Window Box die. I stamped it with the Woodgrain stamp with Versamark and used it with Black Embossing Powder. To give it color I used Distress Oxide Ground Espresso.

For the view from the window I started by applying a layer of Clear Gesso on a piece of Neenah cardstock. Made it black with Distress Oxide Black Soot and used Infusions Black Knight and In The Navy also. Then added some extra blue with Distress Oxide Faded Jeans.

WoW! I totally adore the scene behind the window, it's so realistic. Love the colors of the night sky which is really creapy but still amazing. All the details match just perfectly there. The contrast with the stripped background paper is very cool. Hugs, Macarena.
