It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Spooky".
It's almost Halloween and this time the challenge was to make a spooky project. I didn't go for the traditional Halloween colors this time, and used an old favorite stamp from the Royal Script stamp set. Mine is from the clear stamp set (Regal Flourish) and is stuck together with tape, because of how much I've used it, LOL! It's really crazy how sticky this stamp still is after all those years.
I started with Distress Ink Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans, Walnut Stain and Ground Espresso. After I layered them up the way I wanted, I begane with the wings. First I had stamped it with Ground Espresso, but that didn't really show, then I misted water over the stamp and that helped a lot. As last l also used Archival Ink Coffee to see the stamped lines clearly.
I gave the creepy Halloween Doll a mask with white eyes, that's the theme of this Halloween. And colored his coat with Distress Embossing Glaze Weathered Wood. And to make it a bit spookier I used a Creepy Eye. I gave it a little more color with Alcohol Ink Mushroom.

This project is stunning Sandra! I love that inky darkness of the background and adding that wing stamp was genius. Have a great week!
