Emerald card

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/
Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Add Some Green".

As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from AALL & Create. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

My favorite shade of green is emerald, which is the main color for this card. It really is surprising how much water Heavystock can handle and that the colors still mix without immediately soaking into the paper. I've used Infusions alongside Nuvo Shimmer Powder Green Parade, unfortunately Simon Says Stamp no longer has the colors I used (A Bit Jaded and Slime), but the other Infusions along with Nuvo Shimmer Powder and Heavystock give the same result, trust me! I recently had a whole play session using this technique!

After all the green it was time for some contrast, for that I used Distress Crayon Black Soot for the edges, and Dapper, Purveyor stamp sets, Dylusions Spray Black Marble. But of course also the AALL & Create Washi Tape.

This looks wonderful Sandra! Gorgeous shades of color and great words. I too miss 'A bit jaded' infusions.
