Hi everyone,
Time goes by really ridiculously fast, don't you agree? It's almost Thanksgiving and that is also the theme of Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge. Where are you (this year) thankful for? I'm thankful for a lot this year, but especially in my creative journey. I'm so grateful that I'm in this amazing talented design team of Simon Says Stamp and Show! I'm also very grateful for my new (blog) friends I've made. It's such a great community, with so much positivity. I'm so grateful that I can express myself in my creativity and that I can share it with you. Okay back to business, this is what I made for this week challenge.
This card is slightly larger than an ATC and smaller than a normal card.
First I made a master board out of watercolor paper. I sprayed it with different Dylusion Sprays. I didn't want it to bright. And with stencils and some water I created some texture. I think it's kind of magic how it reacts with water like that.
Then I made a pattern with some "Thanks" stamps. I created a pattern on my stamp press so I could repeat that pattern very easily. After that, I cut the master board into pieces so I could make multiple cards out of it.
This is the smallest of the mini rosette decorative strip. I sprayed it with some Dylusion inks, like I did almost everything. The wings are painted brown first and then applied some Rock Candy Crackle paint.
To join in all you need to do is make a project that fits this weeks challenge and you can be the winner of the $50 gift voucher that our amazing sponsor Simon Says Stamp offers. This prize will go to a random entry. So go over to the Stamp and Show Challenge blog, let the DT members inspire you and join in the fun!
Thank you for stopping by! Love to see you next time!
Hugs,
Sandra

Hi Sandra, gorgeous card, love the combination of the rosette and rusty wings, which also work beautifully with the earthy tones. Love the little wooden star added to the top. Great background and wonderful backdrop for the rosette. Tracy x
Sandra, your Thanksgiving card is beautiful. I love the background colors and random stamping. It looks great. The addition of the winged rosette and the little bit of lace behind it looks awesome. <3 Candy
Beautiful card, Sandra! I love all the layering you've done to create your own custom backgrounds. And the flying rosette makes me grin!
Gorgeous card Sandra! Love the vibrant background with all the stamped words, and the rosette looks so great combined with the wings. Hugs!

Very catchy design. I like the color because it really stands out if put together with other cards. It also has an indigenous feel to it which is what makes it so unique. :)
