Halloween Treat

Hi everyone,

It's almost time for the most spooky holiday of the year! Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog has got you covered with this weeks theme: "This is a treat"! Halloween will not be celebrated by everyone, but maybe you can be inspired by the colorful treats instead.

I was inspired by right pink candy, and I just love Neon Pink, so that's a great combination to create a page in my art journal. I started with a sheet of Neenah Solar White cardstock and the Distress Marker Spritzer and Latticework stencil to make my first layer.

Then I used washi tape to create the main composition. Around the washi tape I played with stencils and stamps to build up more dimension and interest. The Haunted Webs and Bunch of Bats dies immediately gives the pages a Halloween vibe.

LOVE these pages and how you chose such a non-traditional color palette. The bright pink and the splatters still convey that creepy kind of vibe, but it's a happy-creepy. It's hard for me to describe, but it's easy to see why it's such a great creation! Well done, yet again!
