Crazy bird birthday card with video tutorial

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about Flora & Fauna.

The Crazy Birds (thanks Marzena!) are so cute and I wanted to make a cool background for this little round bird. This birthday card is made for a male colleague of mine. I started stamping the Rings with Peeled Paint Distress Ink and before I stamped it onto the paper I sprayed some water over the stamp to get a bit of a watercolor effect. I did the same thing with the Halftone stamp and Ground Espresso Distress Ink.

My MISTI is my tool for getting the best stamp impression. Especially with stamps that have a larger surface. And also with some of the clear stamps I need my MISTI.
This Crazy Bird I colored with a lot of different colors Distress Ink with some Ground Espresso I colored the edges so he fit better into the background.

I know this crazy bird! And love the way you gave him life. Lovely crazy yellow against this calm background. I loved how you stamped the background with distress ink sprayed with water. Can you imagine I have never done this? I have so much to practice :-) Hugs, Marzena
