It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Gift it".
This week I was in the mood for a bit of steampunk, but with a twist. I started with the Mechanics 3D Embossing Folder and gave it a metallic effect with Nuvo Mousse Seaspray Green and Black Ash by applying it with a blending tool. Then a more rusty brown tint mixed in by using Metallique Wax Bronze Age. What does that wax smell nice!
To give more depth to the color and give it a more rusty effect, I used three colors of Nuvo Shimmer Powder, Green Parade, Atlantis Burst and Storm Cloud. And to apply a bit more texture, I used Patina Oxide Baking Powder here and there.

Yes, steampunk! Cool card, Sandra! i love the present that is almost as big as the boy, and the bright happy which is a great contrast to the darker gears. hugs, Maura
