Ocean Waves card with video tutorial

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/
Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Life on the Ocean Waves".

Recently I've been completely into molds, and this week is no different. For the background I first applied bubbles with the Bubble stencil and Texture Paste. After a layer of Clear Gesso I started applying blue colors, first with Distress Oxides and Inks. Then with Infusions and Nuvo Shimmer Powder.

The resin molds first got a layer of Gesso and then I started to work with color. With Metallique Paint Steampunk Copper and Infusions. Because of last week's challenge, I'm really excited about how they work so well with dimensional items and create so much depth. That triggered me to color in some parts of the face with Distress Markers, such as the eyes and eyebrows. Love that effect too!
