It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Floral Frenzy". And as it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Prima Marketing.
You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.
My favorite season is spring, and I can't wait until it starts, and when I think of Floral Frenzy, I think of spring. Because it's still winter, I've taken it easy with the bright colors, and made a grungy version of it. I started with heavystock and a lot of different mediums like, Distress Ink, Distress Oxide, Nuvo Shimmer Powders, Infusions and Prima Marketing Metallique paint to build up my background. The first layer did not look good at all, but by building up several layers it becomes more and more beautiful, thankfully.... LOL!
The empty spaces are easy to fill up with Distress Ink and a blending tool, just like making the edges a bit darker. For texture I used the Swirly Florals stencil from Prima Marketing, together with Texture Paste and Distress Paint Black Soot. I made the flowers with the Small Tattered Florals dies and I gave them color with Distress Ink. I first darkened the edges with Ground Espresso, but later darkened with Black Soot.

This is wonderful Sandra! I love the textures and the interesting color combo that you used. Have a great week!
As stated by Stanford Medical, It is in fact the one and ONLY reason this country's women get to live 10 years more and weigh on average 19 KG less than us.
(And by the way, it is not about genetics or some hard exercise and really, EVERYTHING related to "HOW" they eat.)
P.S, I said "HOW", not "WHAT"...
