It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Not a Card".
The theme of my tag is explore. Not in the traditional sense of the word, but in these times, there is plenty to explore. New ways of interacting with each other, keeping ourselves busy, etc.
I started with the Collage Paper Typeset and adhered it with Soft Matte Gel, along with all kinds of scraps I still had from a previous project and had saved together in a bag. Such as Pattern Paper, a page from an old book, Matte Wax packaging and lace. After also applying some Washi Tape, I first gave it a coat White Gesso and then another layer of Clear Gesso.
With Texture Paste and the Digit stencil I applied some texture and with Liquid Acrylics I started to build up color. These colors are amazing and it's fabulous that it dries permanently, which works very differently with building up layers. They also mix very well when they are still wet. In addition to the Liquid Acrylics, I also used Nuvo Shimmer Powder Green Parade and Infusions A Bit Jaded. I colored the Paperdol with Distress Crayon Rusty Hinge and Walnut Stain.
