It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Frame it".
This week I'm also in the Halloween mood, I expect this will remain until Halloween, just so you know ;). I started with Distress Inks and Oxides, Ripe Persimmon, Fired Brick, Candied Apple and Black Soot, to build up the layeres for the background. I darkened the edges with Black Soot. What a difference that makes, love it!
For the Baroque Frame I used Mirror Sheets. To make the mirror look older I used Mushroom Alcohol Ink, love that vintage color, it ages things magically. I also used it on the Frame itself, just like Metallique Wax Bronze Age and Distress Crayon Black Soot. The girl in the mirror is a Halloween Paper Doll, which I gave a mask from the Curiosities Stickerbook. I made the eyes white with a White Gelly Roll Pen. Reminds me of the kids from the Umbrella Academy. I gave her a red dress with Distress Embossing Glaze Fired Brick.
