It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Dry Embossing".
As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Tim Holtz. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.
This time I made a simple Halloween card, with the Brickwork 3D embossing folder as the star of the show. I first colored the background with Distress Ink Spiced Marmalade and Rusty Hinge. I accidentally placed the embossing folder with the wrong side up. But this way you can give the cement a dark color very easy, so I rolled with it!
For the creepy men I used one from the Curiosities Stickerbook and a Halloween Paper Doll. And of course they both got on a mask and their eyes were made white with a White Gelly Roll pen! I colored the suit of the Halloween Doll with Distress Embossing Glaze Rusty Hinge.

The brick wall looks amazing with the dark grouting in between the bricks - and the rogues' gallery of portraits on the wall makes for a great Halloween card.
