Celebration card with video tutorial

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! The next two weeks it's all about "Celebrate".
This challenge will last for 2 weeks so you have plenty of time to join in! 

I made this birthday card for an amazing friend of mine. Unfortunately, we can't celebrate the way we used to, but let's hope his crazy time will be over next year. I started with Botanical Collage Paper, old book paper and Soft Matte Gel, as well as washi tape. Then I first applied a layer of White Gesso and then a layer of Clear Gesso and made it really hot with the heat tool, so that it starts to bubble for nice texture.

 

With the Schoolhouse stencil and Texture Paste I added some extra texture, and when it was dry, it was time for color. I started with Liquid Acrylics True Yellow and Distress Paint Speckled Egg and then Nuvo Shimmer Powder Storm Cloud. Of course I used the Winged Impresslit again, I absolutely love it!
