Something New Birthday card with video tutorial

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Something New". 

First of all, I want to wish you all an amazing 2021, and hope that we will get all back to normal soon.

For this challenge I used Brutus Monroe Chroma Glaze Pearl for the first time. It's a very liquid glaze, and I gave it a little color with Distress Paint Speckled Egg. But first I started with Washi Tape, White Gesso and Clear Gesso.

 

When the Chroma Glaze was dry I applied color with Infusions In The Navy, Sleight Blue and Nuvo Shimmer Powder Storm Cloud. It went surprisingly well on the Glaze, expected it to be resistant. Then I gave the Paper Doll some color with the Stormy Sky Distress Crayon, and I used my really old Nuvo Drops Sea Breeze again, nice counterpart to something new.
