Shaker Birthday card with video tutorial

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Shake it".

I really like to use those shaker pouches, and the ones I use regularly are no longer available at Simon Says Stamp. I had ordered a new 2 inch one, but unfortunately my order is still on its way and for that reason I used the old (smaller) one, but linked to the new one in the supplies.

 

First I used the Dapper, Entomology and Faded Type stamp sets and stamped with them around the center of the card. I knew I wanted to use the Simon Says Stamp Ring Frame around the shaker. My love for Distress Ink Speckled Egg is still going strong, and this time I used it with Distress Ink Stormy Sky, and Nuvo Shimmer Powder Storm Cloud and Infusions Sleight Blue.

In the shaker pouch I've put some Distress Rock Candy Glitter which I made darker with Pitch Black Alcohol Ink and Silver Foil Cardstock mini circles.
