Enjoy Washi card with video tutorial

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/
Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Wild with Washi".

As you know I love Washi Tape, on almost every project I make there is some Washi Tape added. For this card I only used Washi Tape in the background. They are all from AALL & Create. They have such nice tapes.
I found it hard to cover the beautiful washi background. But otherwise it was a very simple card and it needed something extra;).
On top of the tape I used White Gesso and Clear Gesso. I removed some of the White Gesso with a damp tissue while it was still wet and used a damp tissue on the sitll wet Clear Gesso to add some extra texture.

After the Gesso dried, I used Infusions In The Navy, but found it a bit too flat, so I used Texture Paste along with the Stitches Stencil. As a second medium and color I used was Metallic Paint Stormy Ocean. Together with Infusions this gives a super cool effect.
As a focal point I used the Dapper stamp set and colored it in with Distress Inks Stormy Sky, Speckled Egg, Faded Jeans and Walnut Stain.
