Wonderland card with video tutorial

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/
Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Food and/or Drinks".

How funny are the Stampingbella's Oddball stamps? And who doesn't love Alice in Wonderland? What a fabulous combination! For this card I used Distress White Heavystock, and I was surprised that the paper didn't handle watercoloring very well and that after a few strokes with the water brush, the paper started to pill, and the color almost disappeared after the ink dried up. Very strange. Next time I will use Distress Mixed Media Paper or watercoloring paper for these kinds of techniques ;).

First I colored Alice with different colors Distress Inks and Reinkers. And when I was completely ready, I used Masking paper and a tip that I often give for it to stay in place: Pass it between a few sheets of printer paper through the die-cutting machine (in this case it still got a bit under it, because I removed it a few times, so I guess the glue was a bit less tacky). After I had done that I could start with the background. I wanted a lot of green tones, and I used Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn, Bundled Sage, Distress Ink Rustic Wilderness and Peeled Paint.
