Purple Hocus Pocus Halloween card with video tutorial

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/
Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Spooky/Halloween".

Although I'm not a big lover of the color purple, after the introduction of the new Distress color Villainous Potion, I was inspired to use purple for my Halloween card. I took all kinds of purple colors that I had together and made a mix of them. Distress Oxide and Ink Wilted Violet, Distress Spray Stain Dusty Concord, Distress Crayon and Marker Seedless Preserves and Infusions Blackcurrant.

I made a background from these colors. First I had masked a part of for the moon with Masking Tape. Because I didn't just have sprays. A little bit of ink under the masking tape, but that's okay. Distress Ink still reacts to water even when it is dry, and with a lot of water I achieved a lot of wicking to make the moon part of the background.
