Halloween Palmistry card with video tutorial

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/
Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Thinking of You".

To make a Halloween card for the last time this season, I had to get creative with the theme. But I think I fixed it well ;). I hadn't mixed the original Halloween colors on a project yet and wanted to do that with this last card. I've used all kinds of purple shades like Distress Spray Stain Seedless Preserves and Infusions Blackcurrant. For the green tones I used Distress Spray Stain Peeled Paint, Distress Oxide Spray Crushed Olive and Nuvo Shimmer Powder Falling Leaves.

The card could use some contrast and I used the Spider Web die and applied some Antique Brilliance wax Lucky Emerald on top. I thought it could use a little more contrast, and I used Script stencil with Texture Paste that I colored with Distress Paint Black Soot. Once it was dry, I applied Antique Brilliance wax Lucky Emerald and Metallic Wax Indian Pink to match it with the background.

It was the first time I've used Frosted Crystals Embossing Powder with Distress Crayons, and I've seen videos of it, but I applied it like usual, and her skirt was full of Crayon. It was a big mess... I find it's more comfortable for me to work without Frosted Crystals...
