It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Trees".
For this card I used my favorite Christmas die of all times, the Tree Line die. No Christmas goes by without making a Christmas card with it. This time I used it with the Sprinkle Snowglobe Embossing Folder from the new Simon Says Stamp release called Handmade Holiday.
But first I started with the background, using Distress Oxide Hickory Smoke, Shaded Lilac, Speckled Egg. Along with a little Shimmer Powder Pewter. To add some texture to the background I used the Sparkle Stencil with Texture Paste which I colored with Shimmer Pewter and Distress Oxide Spray Speckled Egg.
To bring the Sprinkle Snowglobe to the foreground a bit more, I filled the sprinkles with Texture Paste and made the background a bit darker with Distress Ink Ground Espresso.
