It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Thanks/Thanksgiving".
For this card I used the Specimen stamp set as a focal point and every time I'm amazed how big those stamps are LOL! Especially the butterflies are huge. I have masked the stamp and to make sure that no ink can get under the masking tape I run it through my die-cutting machine between a few layers of printer paper.
The colors I used for this card are Distress Oxide Spray and Spray Stain in the colors Speckled Egg and Salvaged Patina, along with Distress Oxide Walnut Stain and Distress Ink Ground Espresso for the background. To add some shimmer to the background I used Metallic Paint Rustic Brown and Shimmer Powder Pewter. Distress Oxide Spray and Spray Stain in the colors Speckled Egg and Salvaged Patina, I used for coloring the mega butterfly.
