Happy Hour card with video tutorial

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/
Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Happy Hour".

For this challenge, I was inspired by the Whisper Collectables clock. I wanted to keep it in the vintage style and also the vintage colors. I chose Spun Sugar as the main color, along with some shades of brown. First I applied texture with the Bubble stencil and Texture Paste. And on top of it a layer of Clear Gesso (after the Texture Paste was dry :)).

Even though I use a white background, you hardly see the Spun Sugar Distress Ink. This one could be a shade darker if it was up to me :). Then used Spun Sugar in Distress Oxide, which is slightly more visible. Added some shimmer with Opal Magic Rose Gold. And also with Metallic paint Steampunk Copper, but this one was a bit too intense. To make this a little less, I used Spun Sugar Distress Paint.

Wow! This is such unlike you with all those soft and bright colors but I really like how you used and mixed them to get this soft romantic card. Hugs, Marzena
