Compendium of Curiosities 2 #1

Hi everyone,

Grungy Monday is on hold for a while, at least I think so, and now it's time for Compendium of Curiosities Part 2 challenge over at Studio L3. I've only been paper crafting since last summer, and didn't had the chance to participate in the first variant of this great challenge. I've purchased the books several weeks ago and they're amazing books. I'm very happy that some of the techniques also have been discussed in CC101, because now I have a lot more info about those techniques! Simon Says Stamp is sponsoring the first challenge!

My first attempt wasn't that beautiful. So I made another one. Take two.... When I tried to clean the foam and played with it a little, I got the idea to use the light version. Meanwhile I had stuck the foam stamps on a piece of paper and stamped with the piece of paper behind it, and it worked perfectly. With your fingers you can decide how much pressure you want to give and that way you can create more faded areas.
Love experimenting!

Thank you for stopping by! Love to see you next time!

Hugs,
Sandra

Well this is certainly a winner in my book Sandra. I am determined to learn another style besides cutsy! Your design is really neat - I love the birds flying over the wheels and the time thingy. I never got into Tim Holtz until I watched your Christmas tags and then the Chem 101. Now I am determined to find my way. You inspire me to keep trying!!!!!
