Stamping Script All Star

Hi everyone,

This month it's Stamptember over at Simon Says Stamp Blog! Lots of fun things going on this month, so be sure to check it out!

Yes it's true, I'm still captivated by London, and so for this week Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge where the theme is "Stamping All Star", I yet again found lots of inspiration in the beautiful city of London. With the theme stamping all star is meant to use your favorite stamp and tell us why it is your favorite stamp. I'm very curious about your stamping all stars!

My absolute stamping all star is without a doubt the Script stamp Kaiser Craft! I use it on almost every project, because it's such a versatile background stamp. It gives so much dimension and I also works with every style. Combined with my favorite ink, Archival Jet Black, on Manila cardstock makes it complete. That's what I have done with this card. I first stamped the Guard and masked him off with masking tape so that the guard remains in the foreground.

Then I grabbed my all star stamp and started stamping the background. For the design I used my Tim Holtz London stamps and the of course there it wasn't complete without some washi tape.

Sandra...your piece is so pretty. Love the colors and the design. That KaiserCraft script stamp is a great one! The washi tape and the little wooden camera really add something, don't they? Love the introduction of the blue both on the washi tape and your stamped "enjoy the journey". Neat piece! <3 Candy

Gorgeous Sandra, love the touches of teal against the brown, very striking. Love Big Ben in the backgrounds as if it's faxing into the backdrop. Love the camera embellishment too. Tracy x

I love this stamp set, but it's the blue that makes this a gorgeous card for me! Love the tape and tiny splotches of that blue!

The script stamp creates an awesome background for this card. Love it!! I love the London theme and is that great little dimensional touch that sets off the washi tape. I think my favorite thing though is that little splatter (or was it a "flick"?) of blue that you did at the end. That was great. Thanks for sharing this with us!! Mary Elizabeth
