Skeleton Hands card with video tutorial

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about Halloween and we're also showcasing Memory Box products.

Halloween is my favorite season for making cards, tags and such. I love the scary-ness of it. For the Memory Box product showcase, I used the Skeleton Hand. Unfortunately, it's only one hand and it's the right, but that's okay, I just used two rights.

I started with a sheet of the Materialize Paper Pack for the background. I cut it to the right size and used Texture Paste along with the Bats background stencil. My Crushed Grape Dylusion Paint is has turned into a thick heavy body paint, I don't know how that happened, but for this technique it didn't really matter.

With the Skeleton Hand die I created sort of Jazz Hands to light up the scary-ness, and with the googly eyes turns the creepiness down a little.

Is it just me or do the googly-eyes actually makes this creation more disturbing as if those hands weren't enough? Sandra, your over-the-top creepiness has me grinning ear-to-ear (or in Mr. Skull's case, hand-to-hand) and the playfulness of your creation will inspire the ghoul in all of us!
