It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Layer it up".
Layer it up can be interpreted in various ways, such as building layers with materials, or even mediums. I made a mix of the two for my card. I started to build up layers with different mediums, such as low Opal Magic Rose Gold and then the Honeycomb stencil with Transparent Texture Paste. When that was dry I've added layers with Distress Ink, and then Infusions Sunset Beach and Golden Sands.
When everything was dry, I started to make even more layers such as adding Crayon Black Soot Distress to the edges. Then it was time for the first layer of material, and no surprises here, it was of course adding some washi tape. After some stamping layers and splashes of Dylusions, I continued to build up with Wildflowers, jute twine, a frame and Droplets.

This is such a pretty card! I love how you made the flower components white so that they stand out so well against that background. And I adore the polka dots you've used as a textural element!
Great effect of playing with Infusions, as always. I love the dots made with the paste and the white constrasting flowers with the rest of your card. Hugs, Marzena
Scrumptious background texture - love the grungy look and then the pure white of the flowers over the top.
