STAMPtember Chihuahua card with video tutorial

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "STAMPtember"! It's September and at Simon Say Stamp that means a whole month full of celebrating stamping! Click here for all the specials Simon Says Stamp has come out with this month.

For this STAMPtember, I've used a die of the release, this cute Picture Book Chihuahua. This die consists of loose bits so that you can assemble it yourself with the colors you want and possibly make it more dimensional by stacking up the pieces.

For the Heavystock background I've used Fossilized Amber and Black Soot Distress Oxide and Mustard Seed Distress Ink. I went for and Black and Yellow theme. Find that a very pretty color combination that I not so often use. With the Stitched Rectangles dies I made a frame for the chihuahua. Because the rectangles don't all scale into the smaller sizes, I cut the frame to my own size. I have distressed them with Metallique Wax Aged Brass and Bronze Age.

 

The CAS-ual Friday Trees (thanks Marzena!) I've colored with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide and Ground Espresso Distress Ink. In the background, I've added some Wildflowers with Archival Jet Black Ink to the background too.
