Father's day card with video tutorial
Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Masculine".

It's almost Father's Day and that's why I made a card for my dad. He doesn't like dark cards, and tried to find a balance and left as much of white space as possible. I'm curious if he still finds it still too dark ... we will see :).

I started with the Bubbles stencil and Nuvo Mousse Pure Platinum to add a shimmery resist. Then I applied some color with Distress Oxide and Ink Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire. After I achieved the desired effect, I applied some texture with the Tiles stencil and Texture Paste. After this was dry, I played with Infusions Sleigh Blue, In The Navy and Royal Blood.

Unfortunately, something went wrong with the recording and my phone froze (I make my videos with my phone). So a part of the process is not included in the video. I'm showing you in the video which products I used for which parts, hopefully that helps a bit.

To join in all you need to do is make a project that fits this weeks challenge and you can be the winner of the $50 gift voucher that our amazing sponsor Simon Says Stamp offers. This prize will go to a random entry. So go over to the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog, let the DT members inspire you and join in the fun!
You have until Monday 8am Ohio time. 1pm UK time, 2 pm CET to join in.

If you use instagram add #sssmchallenge to your challenge entry uploads so we can see them on there too!

Aww! Those messy stitches! LOVE them! And the colors of your card. And the central part of it with the stencil and paste. And... such an envy of how perfect your drops are!!! Mine are ugly and awful and I really can't believe how you can make them so ideal! Buuuuu. Hugs, Marzena.

I love how this turned out! You should be an ambassador for Infusions because it's amazing what you're able to do with it. I also love how you made the brick texture fade into the background. This is really pretty as well as manly!
