Thanks card with video tutorial

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/
Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Thanks/Thanksgiving".

The month of Thanksgiving has arrived, even though it is mainly celebrated in the US, think about what you are grateful for is a beautiful thought. I made a thanks card and I started by applying Crackle Texture Paste with the Spaced Dots stencil. After the Crackle Paste was dry I applied a layer of Opal Magic Green-Gold Paint.

To give the background more color, I initially chose three autumn-color Infusions: Rusty Car, Orange County and The Sage. After two layers of each color, I added some more green with Emerald Isle Infusions and Nuvo Shimmer Powder Atlantic Burst. That Nuvo Shimmer Powder surprised me positively because it didn't blended with Infusions on it's own. Wanted some yellow, and tried the same with Perfect Pearls Perfect Gold, but that worked differently. Need to experiment more with the Shimmer Powders, need them all now! LOL!

This is fabulous!! I have never thought of putting crackle paste on top of dots that have been stenciled, so once again you have given me such an inspiring idea to try. Thanks for always teaching me about new ways to use my supplies!
