Autumn Colors Halloween card with video tutorial

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Autumn Colors". 

 

This week we have a moodboard for inspiration that team member Zoey made. Such pretty colors and fabulous inspiration! 

What inspired me the most about the mood board was the rust and the orange colors and I focused on those for my card. First I added Collage Paper Entomology with Soft Matte gel and Washi tape. Then applied a coat of Clear Gesso. For the rust effect I used Grit-Paste and then some White Gesso.

 

For the rusty colors I used Infusions Rusty Car, Liquid Acrylics Tiger Orange and Burnt Sienna and a lot of water to mix and blend it and create rusty stains. To create some extra depth I used Metallic Wax in the colors Firebird, Bronze Age and White gold.
